Primary health care and humanitarian aid for the affected population
The ongoing civil war in Sudan has plunged the country into a devastating crisis. Over 12 million people have been displaced and 30.4 million are dependent on humanitarian aid.
The humanitarian crisis in Sudan is currently one of the most devastating in the world. In the summer of 2024, famine was declared in large parts of the country, and there is a risk that the situation could deteriorate into a prolonged famine. MSF is providing medical and humanitarian assistance to the affected population at various health centers and clinics.
